From an early age, I have been obsessed with tidying up. I have fond memories of cleaning the house with my beloved Grandma. Over the years, I added organizing and decluttering to my list of favorite pastimes. After a long day at work and just hours before my husband of 25 years proposed, I was busy decluttering and reorganizing our hallway closet. Fortunately, Michael knew his soon-to-be wife because something told him to move my engagement ring from the closet before he left for work that day! After years of unwinding by happily organizing friends’ homes in addition to daily projects in my own home, Organized by Abby, LLC was born. I look forward to creating personalized solutions to your organizational needs so that you can happily unwind and enjoy your favorite pastimes!
I received my BBA from the University of Miami and my MBA from the University of Chicago. Michael and I are proud parents to Mike, Jack, and Patrick, and our fur babies, Charlie and Luna.

It depends on the scope and size of the project, and every project is unique. Some projects are finished after one or two sessions. Some clients want to tackle multiple areas over a period of days or weeks. Some of our clients ask that we periodically return to maintain their newly organized spaces. Time to completion also depends on how quickly you make decisions.
Nope! We will look at the supplies you have on hand and make recommendations for items you may need. If you prefer, we can shop for you.
Absolutely not! But do you really need three can openers or that well-worn shirt with a hole under the arm? We will happily donate to a local charity any new or gently used items you elect to part with. And we will confirm your desire to donate each item before removing it from your home.
Then we don’t implement them. The client always has the final say!
